SPECIAL PROGRAMS

Meal-a-Month

This program allows groups in the community to donate bags, each containing a complete meal, to be distributed to clients.

Churches are actively supporting this program. Individuals and various civic groups are invited to help also.

Utility Help

The City of Waxahachie partners with Waxahachie CARE to help struggling families. You can make a monthly or onetime pledge by contacting the water department at 972-937-7330 x 133 or by filling out the form on the back of your water bill.

TXU Electric and Reliant Energy have aid programs for their customers. For every $1.00 you donate to TXU, they will match it by $5.00.  So if you donate $5.00, we get $30.00.  Please consider contributing to this program.

We provide this help only in emergencies when the cutoff of service is imminent, and help is limited to one instance a year per household.
