Let’s get READY! Join us and be a part of this extradordinary event!! OUR FIRST CANSTRUCTION FUNDRAISER To be held April 21, 2012 at the Ellis Co. Expo.

Come and design your own canned canstruction. You may use 300 to 3000 cans to create a design to blow us away. All schools, youth groups, adult groups, businesses, churches, civic groups, banks, bands, and anyone who would like to create a design is welcome. Come join us for a morning of fun and contribute to Waxahachie Care. A BBQ dinner will also be served. All donations are welcome. KBEC will be there for a live telescast. Come join us and help us to collect over 30,000 cans, with all food going to the Waxahachie Care Food Pantry for this community. Join in the fun and bring some canned goods. Hope to see you there. Help us make this a great success.

We are in the process of moving into our new building and will be closed the week of Feb 6 through Feb 10. Hopefully, we will reopen on Feb 13. Come see us at our new location at 1208Ferris Ave, across the street from Walgreens

VFW Christmas giveaway

Waxahachie Care will be screening and taking applications for the VFW Christmas giveaway that will be on Saturday, December 17. Churches have been notified to help out if they know someone in need. Clients cannot be on any other list and must meet the emergency or difficult situation guidelines. If someone knows of someone who needs help at this time, please contact the director of Care @ 972-923-2273 to see if we can help. We are not connected with the Salvation Army Angel Tree, the Wax Fire Dept or Hope Clinic and clients will be crossed checked to make sure they are not on any other list. Applications are being taken on Friday mornings from 9 to 12 a.m.

Thanksgiving

Waxahachie Care will again distribute turkey baskets to some needy clients. About 250 to 300 baskets will be given away. Thank you to the churches who make this possible. This year the qualifications are different due to the fact that we are seeing so many more people.

Waxahachie Care has purchased a newer larger building and will be moving in at the first of the year. This will enable us to expand our services and provide much needed help for many of the community needy. Thank you all for your support and donations. Future fundraisers are planned to help pay off the building fund. We hope and pray that you will support us.
