About Waxahachie Care
We are a non-profit community food pantry that also helps families with utility bills, rent, gas, special needs, and particular needs of elderly citizens. We now have a Waxahachie Care Repair whereby we try to get help for the citizens who need minor repairs in their homes. Every year we give out over 300 Thanksgiving baskets and some Christmas Baskets to needy citizens. We can use volunteers and have been blessed to have some good volunteers on our board. In 2009 we helped over 5700 people with food and over 700 families with utility payments. We also help citizens with used bicycles because so many cannot afford gas and cars.
