Waxahachie Care will be screening and taking applications for the VFW Christmas giveaway that will be on Saturday, December 17. Churches have been notified to help out if they know someone in need. Clients cannot be on any other list and must meet the emergency or difficult situation guidelines. If someone knows of someone who needs help at this time, please contact the director of Care @ 972-923-2273 to see if we can help. We are not connected with the Salvation Army Angel Tree, the Wax Fire Dept or Hope Clinic and clients will be crossed checked to make sure they are not on any other list. Applications are being taken on Friday mornings from 9 to 12 a.m.
Thanksgiving
Waxahachie Care will again distribute turkey baskets to some needy clients. About 250 to 300 baskets will be given away. Thank you to the churches who make this possible. This year the qualifications are different due to the fact that we are seeing so many more people.

Good Blessings on the Horizons
Waxahachie Care has purchased a newer larger building and will be moving in at the first of the year. This will enable us to expand our services and provide much needed help for many of the community needy. Thank you all for your support and donations. Future fundraisers are planned to help pay off the building fund. We hope and pray that you will support us.

Waxahachie Care is a UNITED WAY AGENCY. The United Way needs your support. All of the agencies that get help are able to function thanks to contributions from all of you.
